Dining Assessment & Supplier Selection Assistance

Bucknell University sought Envision Strategies’ assistance in reviewing their campus-wide dining services program and in crafting and developing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for selecting a dining service provider. Envision conducted a thorough review of the current program and worked with a designated committee of Bucknell community members to identify priorities for both the University and the Supplier. Envision collaborated with the Dining Steering Committee of University representatives throughout the bidding and selection process, developing the RFP documents and applying tools refined over the years to gather responses specific to Bucknell’s priorities from prospective Suppliers. The Envision team evaluated multiple Supplier proposals along with the Selection Committee and created an ‘apples to apples’ financial comparison for Bucknell leadership review. Finally, Envision Strategies assisted the University in negotiating a new agreement that honored the University’s goals and provided a stronger basis for a sustainable, successful relationship with its Supplier over the life of the contract. Envision was chosen to stay onboard with the Bucknell leadership team for the first year of the contract to assist with onboarding, KPIs, and meal plan strategies.
