Assumption University sought a strategic assessment of its current campus-wide dining services program, along with assistance in developing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for selecting a new dining service provider. Having partnered with Sodexo since 1989, the University needed to prepare for the expiration of the contract.Â
Envision Strategies was engaged to conduct a thorough assessment of the existing dining program, aiming to clarify priorities for both the University and prospective suppliers. The consulting team worked collaboratively with a committee of University representatives throughout the entire bidding and selection process. This included developing RFP documents and utilizing refined tools to gather essential information from potential suppliers.Â
Additionally, Envision Strategies evaluated the submitted proposals alongside the Selection Committee, creating an ‘apples to apples’ financial comparison. The consulting team also assisted Assumption University in negotiating a new agreement that aligned with the University’s goals, fostering a stronger foundation for a sustainable and successful partnership with the chosen supplier throughout the contract’s duration.
