Envision Strategies, together with the UChicago Dining team, conducted a review of the dining program’s performance and identified areas for modification. Envision then developed an RFP and recommended a selection process during COVID-19 that included two bidding options. Across these options, five suppliers submitted proposals. Envision conducted a detailed financial analysis of the submissions and worked with UChicago Dining to identify negotiation priorities that would strengthen the program and improve financial returns to the University. Three suppliers submitted BAFO proposals, and UChicago ultimately selected a supplier. Envision continued on to assist in negotiating the agreement language.
